In the middle of the festive season, Virat Kohli, India’s most popular sports person’s birthday is turned into a grand celebration as he turned 30 on Monday. His fans and well-wishers showered blessings on him abundantly through various social media platforms.
On this occasion, the All India Gaming Federation(AIGF) wrote to the Prime Minister urging the highest civilian honor to the ‘milestone man’, the Bharat Ratna award. Kohli’s exceptional performance in the recent past gained accolades from all around and captivate the hearts of millions.
He achieved 18500 international runs in all three formats of the game, an average of above 50 runs in Tests and ODIs and also became the fastest batsman in the world to reach 10,000 runs in the one-day internationals.
The only sports personality who was bestowed with this unique civilian award in India till today is Sachin Tendulkar, India’s master blaster.
Virat Kohli was wished by his spouse and actress Anushka Sharma by posting their pictures along with a unique caption which says,” Thank God for his birth!”
Along with all the team members, MS Dhoni also wished him with an old picture of Virat with a toy gun as conclusive proof that he is a huge fan of the mobile game PUBG!
