Thousands of Manchester City fans assembled the city’s streets to celebrate their club’s historic domestic treble as Pep Guardiola’s winners have been labeled the ‘Fourmidables’ after a sensational 2018-19 campaign.

Basking in the splendor of rare sun-kissed day in Manchester, tens and thousands of fans flocked to hail their heroes for their domestic haul of the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup- the first time a side has won all three trophies in a single season.

Wearing T-shirts emblazoned with the slogan, “Fourmidables’- in recognition of the Treble haul and the community shield- players clutching bottles of beer and champagne waved to the millions of fans who filled the streets of Manchester.

Pep Guardiola wore a black and white chequered cap in tribute to City’s Life President and former club secretary Bernard Halford who is nicknamed ‘Mr. Manchester City’ who passed away recently and who was never seen without his flat cap.

The open-top bus parade left the Town Hall and finished at the Cathedral where the players appeared in front of the huge crowd.

Guardiola told the crowd during the victory parade that it was time for good dinners and wine to enjoy what they have done this season.

Fans also cheered for the captain Vincent Kompany during the celebration, a day after he announced he was to become player-manager of Anderlecht. He said that he has given everything to the club for the past 11 years and was proud of it.
