The members of the Indian Cricket team were made to wait outside the Vishakapatnam Airport soon after second ODI against West Indies finished. The team was meant to leave for Pune, where the 3rd ODI is meant to happen.

Apparently, due to attack on YSR Congress President YS Jaganmohan Reddy by a canteen employee in the VIP Lounge of the Vishakapatnam Airport, security at the airport was almost unmatched as airport entry and checkpoints were strictly monitored. The Indian cricket team had to stay in their buses until the scheduled time.

After the situation was brought under control, the Indian cricket team finally managed to board their flight for Pune. Also after the first aid, Jagan was flown to Hyderabad on a regular flight.

After a thrilling tie in Visakhapatnam ODI, India is leading with 1-0 ahead of West Indies. The third ODI is scheduled to be played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Saturday.
