The citizens seem to be in the form of their lives. With them being on top of the premier league, in the carabao cup final and still competing in FA cup & Champions league, some believe Pep Guardiola’s side are well equipped to achieve a feat no English team has till date.

Manchester City’s squad depth is well known. Regardless of injuries or form, someone is always ready to pop up and get their side over the line. And they’re being managed by arguably the best manager of this generation. Out of all the sides who attempted to win the quadruple in the past, they certainly make a strong case.

The true sign of champion teams is they perform in the most difficult situations. Make a comeback when no one expects them to. And City has done that this season. After a loss against Chelsea back in December, they went on a barren run. Pundits & fans had already counted them out of the title race. But they won crucial games & came back on track. Now on top of the league with a game played more, they still have put pressure on Liverpool & have again become favorites to win.

The Carabao cup final is on Sunday & City are expected to win it comfortably with Chelsea being in utter chaos. The last game between them earlier this month ended in a 6-0 win. In the FA cup quarter finals lineup, the only other big club remaining is Manchester United. Hence Man City seem to be the favorites for this competition as well.

But it is the Champions league that will prove to be the toughest one to crack. Semifinals is the closest Pep Guardiola’s team have come to in this competition. And with the who’s who of Europe still competing, they’ll have to give their absolute best to have any chance of winning the world’s most prestigious club football competition. It is interesting to note, they made a stunning comeback late last night against Schalke being a goal & a man down. Raheem Sterling scored late to give a 3-2 first-leg lead with crucial away goals.

Will, they achieve the quadruple dream to etch their names in history? Tell us what you think in the comments section.
