Valencia is all set to build a five-point advantage at the top of the standings as they are all set to lock horns with the unbeatable Barcelona at the Saturday’s La Liga showdown.

Barcelona has clinched eight successive wins and stands at the top of the table. Although they have faced a slight glitch during their face-off with Sevilla that resulted into a draw. Ernesto Valverde is looking forward to building up enough momentum before the face-off and wants the team not to be a one-man team with Messi taking lead on the scoresheet. Ernesto will be likely to make a change in the playing XI and give Philippe Coutinho another opportunity due to Ousmane Dembele’s injury.

While Valencia has so far failed to cope with the performance standards their fans expect. But Valencia is soon picking up the pace after back-to-back wins over Celta Vigo and Villarreal. The 3-0 win over Villareal recorded the club’s biggest league win of the season. Valencia has every reason to deliver a stern performance against Barcelona on Saturday evening.

Probable Line-ups:

Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Semedo, Pique, Lenglet, Alba; Vidal, Arthur, Rakitic; Messi, Suarez, Coutinho.

Valencia: Neto; Piccini, Paulista, Garay, Gaya; Soler, Parejo, Coquelin, Cheryshev; Moreno, Mina.

PlayerzPot Prediction:

Barcelona has been unbeaten in their previous matches against Valencia, but with unexpected performances rolling up from some underrated teams, it is hard to predict but a win can be expected for Barcelona.
