The battle in Pune proceeds on Day 5, as Mumbai will fight against the Andhra team in Match 29 of the Inter-Zone confrontation week at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex on Tuesday. Mumbai endured their first loss of the season on account of Pune in their last match and will hope to return to winning courses against the Telugu team. They will draw motivation from the way that the match against Pune went at the last minute and could have gone the other way till the end. Certainly, Mumbai would be gearing up to pursue their game after the turbulent thrashing from Pune in their last game.

Siddharth Desai would be again initiating the Mumbai attack with capable help from Abhishek Singh and Rohit Baliyan and would want to leave the mistake of their last defeat from Pune behind. Mumbai’s defense is gradually becoming strong, and the mentor and the management should adhere to Surender Singh in the cover as Hadi Tajik, who was introduced in the last match, watched strange in the defense layout.

On the contrary, the Telugu team would search for a win to keep up their position at the highest point of the Zone B ratings. Andhra’s defense tactics were getting better in their last clash against Patna, with both of their corner defenders, Vishal Bhardwaj, and Abozar Mighani, scoring great to take their team splendidly over the edge. Their attack has still not achieved the ruling levels that it has been known for in the past seasons, yet there have been snapshots of brightness.

Rahul Chaudhari has still not shown his dynamic A-level game in PKL Season 6 so far. With only 27 attack points from his 4 matches, he would love to take his performance to the succeeding level and score his first Super-10 of Season 6 against the solid defense of the Mumbai team.

Tentative 7 players aligned for each team

Mumbai Team: (Captain) Fazel Atrachali, Rohit Baliyan, Abhishek Singh, Siddharth Desai, Surender Singh, Dharmaraj Cheralathan, Rajguru Subramaniam

Telugu Team: (Captain) Vishal Bharadwaj, Abozar Mighani, Nilesh Salunke, Farhad Milaghardhan, Anil Kumar, Rahul Chaudhari, Mohsen Maghsoudlou

Raiders

Nilesh Salunke and Siddharth Desai

Salunke has been a good performer so far and has made up for the failure of Rahul Chaudhari by proving a fair scoring of points so far in this season. Desai has been an outstanding raider for the Mumbai and has shown his consistency considerably so far for using his strength to outnumber the defenders of the opposition.

Defenders

Abozar Mighani, Dharmaraj Cheralathan, and Anil Kumar

Cheralathan has been one of the handiest defenders in the season 6 of Pro Kabaddi and has shown up a spectacular performance by combining forces with Fazal Atrachali for the Mumbai’s defense. Mighani has continued with his overwhelming performance and form from the last season itself and has been one of the strongest defenders from the right corner in this season. Anil Kumar is a vital player in the backbone of the Andhra team and has contributed immensely from the cover square.

All Rounders

Vinod Kumar and Vishal Bharadwaj

Although Vinod Kumar didn’t get much opportunity to play, whenever he has been given a chance, he has shown a brilliant performance and has never unsettled the Mumbai fans. Bharadwaj has been a stable performer and has done well for the team. He has been one of the best defenders and his partnership with Mighani has been remarkable that has led to the Telugu team soaring high in the matches so far.
