MUMBAI:

With Mumbai about to face Premier League’s Mad Titan Chennai, there is a need to make some necessary changes in the team form. Kieron Pollard is all out of form and looks like he’ll be replaced with Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting. Lasith Malinga will be returning to Sri Lanka to play the Super Provincial One Day Tournament and Mumbai will be most likely to swap him with newbie Jason Behrendorff. They have currently won one and lost two out of the three matches and are currently placed 6th in the table in the league standings with two points. Their only win came against Bangalore who is already dusted before the snap. Mumbai’s lack of skills to cope up with the target was clearly displayed during their face-off with Punjab.
Quinton de Kock is the leading run-getter for Mumbai Indians with 110 runs and is having a strike-rate of around 147.

Probable Line-ups: Quinton de Kock (wk), Rohit Sharma (c), Suryakumar Yadav, Yuvraj Singh, Kieron Pollard/Ben Cutting, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Mitchell McClenaghan, Mayank Markande, Jasprit Bumrah, Jason Behrendorff.

CHENNAI:

Chennai is currently leading the table with effortless winning and what’s remarkable about them is their changes in the team. To enhance the tactical strategies in their last match, Chennai dropped Harbhajan Singh and roped Mitchell Santner. Although this proved hazardous as the left-arm spinner conceded 23 runs off the two overs he bowled, yet he will be given another chance to secure his place in the team. The team has also received another setback with England all-rounder David Willey opting to withdraw himself from the remainder of the tournament citing personal reasons. CSK have not announced Willey’s replacement as of now. Nothing too much speculation about the team, it will be enough to say that Chennai will yet again put up a spectacular performance.

Probable Line-ups: Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson, Suresh Raina, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni (c/wk), Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, Mitchell Santner, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Imran Tahir.

PLAYERZPOT PLAYING XI:

PLAYERZPOT PREDICTION:

Needless to say, Chennai’s middle order is impactful and that’s where Mumbai lacks. We can expect Chennai to dismantle Mumbai with a huge margin.
