QUICK ANALYSIS:

INDIA:

India’s middle order is one to lookout for

India is all boosted with enough confidence with the strings of winnings and the way Virat and Co. have folded with perfection in the ODI and T20 format. Although there were times when Australia went into a competitive zone but India proved that this fixture will always be ruled by the Men in Blues. With the current form, India is slowly starting to fix their middle order prior to the World Cup 2019. Ambati Rayadu has done enough to nail down the number four position by scoring runs at an average of 53 ever since he got that spot. MS Dhoni is the savior of every match locked at number 5 and Kedar Jadhav has become mandatory for every match at number 6 and his team-up with MS Dhoni has been very mature. They both sailed the team out of trouble from 99 for 4 and kept the team away from any hiccups. Rishabh Pant has provided batting support in the absence of Vijay Shankar. Mohammed Shami is India’s attacking star with Kuldeep Yadav performing exceptionally with his bowling tactics.
India will look to continue with their winning line-up so as to conquer the series.

Probable Line-ups: KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (c), Rishabh Pant, MS Dhoni (wk), Kedar Jadhav, Vijay Shankar, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami.

AUSTRALIA:

The broken starting line-up can cause some troubles.

Indeed Australia has been quite competitive but they do fall short on crucial occasions and the problem lies with their batting line-up. A lot of their batsmen failed to make some big scores and as a skipper, Aaron Flinch is not unable to score an international fifty in his last 20 matches and this has led to spread worries inside the selectors prior to World Cup. In the current line-up, David Warner could slide into the opening slot and the middle order will shift one slot when Steve Smith comes back. Keeping the starting line-up aside, the middle order for Australia is pretty strong and that’s where they have a chance to score some winning runs. Speaking of the middle order, Handscomb and Maxwell are very good against spin and they are both in a very good form to accelerate a stern performance. While their bowling has been quite dicey as they tend to perform well partially but during the crucial times they are just satisfactory.

Probable Line-ups: Aaron Finch (c), Pat Cummins, Alex Carey, Jason Behrendorff, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Peter Handscomb, Usman Khawaja, Nathan Lyon, Shaun Marsh (3rd, 4th & 5th ODI), Glenn Maxwell, Jhye Richardson, Kane Richardson, Marcus Stoinis, Ashton Turner, Adam Zampa, D’Arcy Short (cover for Marsh).

PITCH CONDITIONS:

The pitch at Nagpur is flat for batting and tends to remain that way throughout the match. 8 out of the ten ODI matches played here have been won by the side batting second.

PLAYERZPOT PLAYING XI:

PLAYERZPOT PREDICTION:

India’s bowling line-up will play a vital role in winning this fixture. There’s a chance of scoring some huge runs but Australia’s fine bowling can stop the motion but this too can be broken if India’s fine batting line-up can leave an impact.
