Match 16 of the Indian Soccer League throws up an exciting contest tonight. Hyderabad host Northeast at the GMC Balayogi Athletic stadium. While the home team has found new vigor after getting their first win recently, the visitors are one of the few sides to still remain unbeaten in the league.

Hyderabad looked down & out after the worst possible start to the season. Their two opening games saw them concede 8 goals away from home as there seemed to be problems aplenty with this side. However, they pulled things back in their first home game to come back from behind and get all three points against Kerala. It was just the kind of relief that Phil Brown’s team needed.

Northeast has begun this season on a surprise note. They saw off Orissa in the opening game and then followed it up with impressive draws against formidable Bengaluru & Goa teams. They sit comfortably in the fourth spot in the table while star signing Asamoah Gyan has been amongst the goals. As things stand, they seem to be contenders for a playoff berth.

The Hyderabadis will have Adil Khan return to the lineup after he missed the last game through injury. Rafael Lopez, Bobo & Sahil Panwar are expected to miss out through injuries & Nestor Gordillo remains suspended. In the Northeast camp, Federico Gallego and Rupert Nongrum remain side-lined. While Kai Heerings is expected to be back for the highlanders.

Predicted Line-ups –

Hyderabad FC: Kamaljit Singh, Asish Rai, Matthew Kilgallon, Gurtej Singh, Mohammed Yasir, Nikhil Poojary, Marko Stankovic, Abhishek Halder, Rohit Kumar, Marcelo Pereira, Robin Singh

Northeast: Subhasish Roy, Mislav Komorski, Kai Heerings, Rakesh Pradhan, Reagan Singh, Jose Leudo, Nikhil Kadam, Redeem Tlang, Martin Chaves, Milan Singh, Asamoah Gyan

 SportsGuru Prediction –

Expect an end to end game with both teams going for the kill. We predict a 1-2 win for the visitors as their fierce attack might prove to be a bit too much for the fragile home defense.
