BENGALURU:

The best fixture of Indian Super League has arrived as Bengaluru will play host to Goa at Sree Kanteerava Stadium on Thursday between the table toppers. Although Bengaluru has registered only one win since December, it is so far the best team of the league. There is a drop in the points and hence the team that stood with major points difference from the rest, now stands with shoulders level on 2nd position with 31 points. But seems like Bengaluru might pick up the pace with the arrival of Miku after his injury. Also, Sunil Chettri might make a comeback after given rest during the Delhi faceoff. With both the star players making their way to the turf, Albert Serran will miss this fixture following a grand slam of four yellow cards of the season and Erik Paartalu will miss the remaining fixtures of the season due to an injury. Bengaluru is still balanced and stable and chances of pulling up a hamstring of few goals is a possibility.

Probable Line-ups: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Rino Anto, Rahul Bheke, Juanan, Nishu Kumar, Harmanjot Khabra, Dimas Delgado, Xisco Hernandez, Luisma Lopez, Miku, Sunil Chhetri.

 GOA:

While Goa is at a position where they can spit fire and damage any opponent with their crisp defense and sharp attacks, they own 31 points from 16 games. Goa has improved with every passing game as they managed to set a new league record of 5 consecutive clean sheets. There isn’t much to explore about the team’s defects as they pose strong and will be a bigger threat to Bengaluru as they will march with their full winning squad. Ferran Corominasand Edu Bedia could run riot in this game. The Spanish players have proven lethal against every side they have come up against and are a constant threat to the opposing defences. Corominas has 14 goals while Bedia has 7 this season.

Probable Line-ups: Naveen Kumar, Seriton Fernandes, Mourtada Fall, Carlos Pena, Mandar Rao Desai, Lenny Rodrigues, Ahmed Jahouh, Jackichand Singh, Edu Bedia, Brandon Fernandes, Ferran Corominas.
